Lake Church Inn

Dave and his wife are jewels in the service industry. The Friday night fish fry with real Lake Michigan perch was the best I've had in years. It was with two spotted cows, homemade clam chowder soup, Mini potato pancakes, marble rye bread, applesauce, sour cream, coleslaw with a desert shot, for less than $20.00. I highly recommend no fuss no muss, just a nice dive bar with 5 ⭐ results.

Pictures do not lie! I'm eating while I type this out because this sandwich is too good not to share with the world. I'm having the Philly Cheesesteak and it's beyond words. Everything is done to perfection from the crispy edges of the roll to the meat, peppers and onions that are cooked just right to blend together in prefect harmony. It's my second time here, the first was to watch a Packers game which was great fun too. I live in Cedarburg and going forward I'll make the drive out here if I want a sandwich because yes it's that good!

First time here for a Friday night fish fry. It was wonderful! Great perch, fries, and Cole Slaw. So sorry I can't think of our waitresses name because she was awesome. Very busy but took our order and food came out in very short time and it was hot! We will definitely be back.

Nine years ago to the day, my husband and I took a last minute trip to Wisconsin and were lucky enough to stumble upon the Lake Church Pub & Grill where we drank cold beers, shared many laughs, and were provided the ultimate hospitality from Uncle Dave and his staff. The night led to us talking Uncle Dave into letting us pitch our tent out back as we would learn that all of the local campgrounds were booked up for the holiday. Waking up to the beautiful countryside in Wisconsin will always be one of our fondest memories. If you find yourself looking for a good drink, delicious food, and friendly people then look no further than the Lake Church Pub & Grill. It is the best!

I hate to review this place too highly.... because I want there to be rooms for me. I guess my honest nature will get the better of me though. This is a GREAT budget place to stay! Quiet rooms, close to the lake, and very caring Inn Keepers. Check in and out is super easy. The rooms are clean. There isn't a lot of rooms so it stays pretty quiet. This will be my first choice every time i come up to Belgium Wi. If they are booked up.... I'll have to drive much further to find a place that is half as good.

Disclaimer: my mom has bartended here on Saturday afternoons for a few years now, and I'm familiar with the owners. because of this my opinions may be somewhat skewed. At first glance Lake Church is just another dive bar in an unincorporated town a short drive from the highway, but upon further inspection it has much more charm than that. The building is over 100 years old, and with it comes a beautiful tin ceiling, barn wood floors, and the bar is original to the building. These guys serve great drinks, but if you're gonna ask for a weird curve ball for a cocktail it may be met with a raised eyebrow and a question of what's in it. As the saying goes: if you don't know how to make it, you probably shouldn't be drinking it. This place serves up great food in obscene quantities at a good price, with different dining specials every day of the week. Come in on a Monday night and try the meatloaf dinner, complete with a thick slab of texas toast and a massive pile of mashed potatoes. Ask the locals: they swear by it! Great people, good food, and cold drinks in a charming old bar with lots of character. It's out of the way, but worth a visit.

Lake Church was an old favorite, and my first trip back in a year or so didn't disappoint. We took 5 with us, fish was excellent, and drinks were good. Dave and crew always do a nice job.

Highly underrated dining spot. Some unique finds on the menu, not just your average bar fare. I've eaten there twice now and both times the owner went out of his way to make sure our experience was top notch. Thanks!
